Morning Meeting
 
Songs, calendar, morning message, and energizing activities begin the day!

Group Lesson 
Lessons in math, literacy, or handwriting/small motor development utilizing visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches.

Small Group Learning
Teachers work with a few students to further develop phonics, math, writing, and literacy skills.

Workshop
Students may choose from a variety of play-based, open-ended, workshops that are designed to support cognitive, social, physical, and emotional development.

Co-Curricular Classes
Lessons in science, math, library, art, and PE are taught by subject specialists.

Recess and Snack

Extended Day and After School options available.

Small Group Learning Rotations
Students engage in small group instruction with their teachers and peers for lessons in math, writing, reading, phonics, and social studies.

Lunch

Read, Relax, and Rejuvenate
A period of downtime for students to rest and refocus for the remainder of the day. Options while resting might include listening to a read-aloud or soft music, looking at a book, or snuggling with a soft toy.

Purposeful Movement
A focused brain break through movement that fosters learning and develops gross motor skills. Activities might include nature walks, tae kwon do, or yoga movement.

Inquiry and Exploration
The “essential question” will serve as a catalyst for learning. This time will be marked by collaborative learning, integration of other disciplines, hands-on learning, and indoor and outdoor experiences.

Extended Day and After School Programs available until 3:00 or 6:00 p.m.

Kindergarten (full day)
8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
After School Program available until 6:00 p.m.

Kindergarten (half day)
8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
