Travel to China: June 2017

Eighth graders, Upper School students, and family members will have the opportunity to visit Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai during our bi-annual (every two years) trip to China to see the wonders, taste the food, and experience the culture of China and visit our sister school, Tianli. This bi-annual event has become a once in a lifetime memorable event cherished by Cannon students and all who join us on the excursion. Virtually all students from Cannon who have made the trip said it was a highlight of their time at Cannon and a memory they will always cherish. By participating in this trip, students will increase their global awareness, partake in cultural exchange, and develop their personal growth.

Students in Chinese class will practice their language skills, immerse themselves into the local culture, and experience historical and cultural sites. All students will be hosted by families at Tianli School as we host our Chinese visitors when they travel to Cannon School. Mrs. Wang, the upper school Chinese teacher, will be the lead chaperone. Family members are encouraged to join the group.

Please enjoy this video of the 2015 Trip.
