Girls Athlete Spotlight: Maria Nix of Cannon School
Maria Nix ‘25 has carved out a special place of her own on the volleyball court. A two-time all-state selection, she currently is a senior outside hitter for the Cougars. She leads the team with 158 kills so far this season, and she recently eclipsed the 1,000th kill of her career.
