A Flourishing Future: November Construction Update

As A Flourishing Future journey continues ahead, we’re pleased to share that November has brought strong momentum as the framework of the new facilities begins to take shape.

  • The slabs for both the first and second floors have now been poured, laying the literal foundations for what’s to come.
  • Exterior metal framing for the first and second floors is nearly complete, providing the skeleton that will support the walls and roof overhead.
  • Inside, work is underway on the second floor HVAC ductwork.
  • Stair structures off each side of the building have begun to rise, connecting spaces vertically and setting the stage for flow between levels.

With the framing nearly done and internal systems starting, the next major phase will be roofing. As the exterior takes shape, you’ll soon see more clearly how the spaces will evolve.

Each of these steps represents a visible bit of progress, but more importantly, they represent progress toward creating spaces that will inspire, connect and empower. From collaborative areas to flexible learning environments, the spaces rising now will support teaching and learning for years to come.

Stay tuned for next month’s update—there are more milestones ahead!
