What is CAFTA?

Cannon Advocates For The Arts (CAFTA) supports Cannon School's award-winning interactive and exploratory Fine Arts program, which nurtures the creativity within each Cannon student.

CAFTA helps to fund materials and equipment for the Fine Arts program, including musical instruments, art gallery displays, multimedia software, guest instructors, competition fees, production equipment, costumes, teacher enrichment and school-wide arts events, both on and off campus.

CAFTA donated over $30,000 to the school's capital campaign to help build the new Cannon Performing Arts Center, which opened in Fall 2014.

Become a Volunteer!

CAFTA's success is possible through the many ways parents and families volunteer. Staffing the Theater Box Office, event planning and set up, Art Appreciation, marketing special events, or even donating baked goods are just some of the ways you can be involved with CAFTA. Whether you have a lot of time, or just a little, there are many opportunities to be a part of CAFTA! It is a wonderful way to meet new families and to be involved at Cannon.

Volunteer opportunities will be posted soon for the upcoming year; in the meantime you may contact the CAFTA committee president with your interest in volunteering.
