Cannon School's After School Program (ASP) provides students in grades JrK - 8 with a safe, nurturing environment. Students have the opportunity to receive assistance with their homework, play sports, participate in art activities, cook, discover and explore nature, and experience cultivating and observing our garden.

Your students' academic and social skills will be enhanced with experiences, which foster their individual, developmental, social, and emotional needs. By partnering with our families, our community, and our faculty and staff, the students truly become adaptive experts.

We’re excited to share important details about Cannon’s After School Program (ASP) for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. Please review the information below to help plan for your child’s participation:

• Regular School Days: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• *Early Dismissal Days: 11:45 AM – 4:00 PM

*Note: A packed lunch must be sent with your child on early dismissal days, as the cafeteria will not be open.
Late Pick-Up Fee: $1 per minute after the designated pick-up time applies to both contract and drop-in students.

Snacks

After School Program provides nut-free snacks daily. Some snacks may contain dairy or gluten, so if your child has dietary restrictions or allergies, please send an additional snack from home.

Cannon's After School Program offers two registration options to meet your family’s nee

Contract Enrollment :
Ideal for families who plan for their child to attend After School on a regular basis.

• For the 2025–2026 school year, After School Program registration is completed through your Veracross Family Portal or the Veracross After School Registration link.
• Contract rates provide significant savings over hourly drop-in fees. 

• Drop-In Registration – Best for families who need occasional care.
  • Complete the Drop-In Registration Form.
  • Billed at an hourly rate of $11.50, including early dismissal days.
