Early Childhood Parent/Teacher Workshop

For parents of prospective Lower School students, and Early Childhood educators
Thursday, October 17, 2019

6:00  - 7:30 p.m.

Join us for an evening of learning more about best practices in early education. Dr. Shelley Dean has spent over a decade working with young children and their families in the Charlotte area. She plans to lead a discussion about the important relationship between parents and teachers, and how we can partner in supporting the growth of our children. Dr. Dean will also speak about characteristic milestones in child development and how you can detect them using scenario-based observation. We hope all participants will leave with useful information and strategies they can use to support healthy child development in their little ones.

Cannon School Admission Office representatives will be on hand to answer questions, and classrooms will be open for viewing.
