New Family Orientation

Jr. Kindergarten: New Parent/Student Orientation Drop student off at classroom and meet in the Lower School Idea Hub 8:30 - 9:15 a.m.
Kindergarten - Grade 4: New Parent/Student Orientation   Drop student off at classroom and meet in the Lower School Idea Hub 9:15 - 10:00 a.m.
Middle School: New Parent/Student Orientation
(including ALL rising 5th graders)
Cindric Performing Arts Center  10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Upper School: New Student Orientation - The Dean Team's Prep for Success Workshops
(including ALL rising 9th graders)
Check-in at The Bryant Green Upper School Entrance
*Please drop off your child at 8:00 a.m. The US parent orientation will begin at 11:30 a.m.

*All students should bring their laptops. Workshops will address technology set-up, academic and student life orientation and time with fellow students.
Upper School: New Parent Orientation (including parents of ALL rising 9th graders) Cindric Performing Arts Center 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.






















Following your orientation, we invite all families to visit the Dining Hall to attend the Information Fair at which you can:
  • Meet the school nurse and turn in medical forms.
  • Set up your Flik dining account.
  • Meet your bus driver.
  • Learn more about Parents at Cannon (PAC) and how to get involved.
  • Learn more about our After School Program.
  • Learn more about Beyond the Bell Enrichment Programs.
  • Visit the Cougar’s Den.
  • Meet the New Family Connections Committee and enjoy a cookie and lemonade.

Register for a FREE Athletics Physical (Grades 7-12)

To all families who may have a child participating in MS, JV, or Varsity sports next year (rising grades 7-12),

Our medical athletic training provider, Novant Health, is offering Cannon student athletes a FREE physical on Saturday June 1.

If you would like to take advantage of this free physical, which is good for the entire 2019-2020 academic and athletic year, please see the instructions below:

  1. Go to www.ppezoom.com and select CANNON
  2. Parents, fill out medical history and demographics forms
  3. Choose an appointment time and go to the Novant location specified on the registration webpage (NH LAKESIDE FAMILY PHYSICIANS-ROSEDALE, 14330 OAKHILL PARK LN 2008, HUNTERSVILLE, NC 28078)

This free offer is good only for Saturday, June 1. Otherwise, you are on your own to acquire a physical, which is required for athletic participation. Physicals are good for a 13 month time period.
