US Theatre Teacher – Part Time
Cannon School is seeking candidates for our US Theatre program. The Part-time Upper School Theater Teacher will teach two theater classes and assist with aspects, as specified, of the twice-annual productions. A teacher at Cannon School, provides a safe, nurturing environment for students in their classroom utilizing the school’s instructional program.  The teacher works to create meaningful, engaging developmentally appropriate learning experiences in order to continue to build strong foundational skills for lifelong learning.
 
Upper School Spanish Teacher
We are seeking candidates for a full-time Upper School Spanish teaching position for the 2019-2020 school year. The ideal candidate will have Advanced Mid or higher proficiency in Spanish and be fluent in English. This person will teach in the Upper School and will be instrumental in contributing to the growth of the World Language curriculum. Preference will be given to applicants who have knowledge of the ACTFL Proficiency Standards, who currently teach to the three modes of communication, who are dedicated to creating lessons and activities centered around the learner, possess proficient technology skills, and who implement authentic materials in the World Language classroom.

We are searching for someone who is adaptive and willing to adjust to differing student needs. This candidate will be open to professional development and feedback. In addition, this person must be highly organized, efficient, and someone who relates well with students, faculty, and parents.  This person will work closely with our Upper School World Language Department. A willingness to participate in our growing exchange/travel programs is also a plus.
 
Bus Driver
We are currently seeking candidates for our Transportation Department. The position hours are on an as needed basis and will provide back up coverage for regular routes and drive for sport and field trips. The ideal candidate will have a: valid CDL license with a P&S endorsement, prior driving experience, will be flexible, a team player and enjoy working with children. This candidate will also possess the qualities inherent in our core values of courage, teamwork, respect, integrity, passion and kindness.
