  • Cannon Substitute Teacher

    Cannon School is looking for Substitute Teachers for the 2020-21 school year. Cannon Substitutes are temporary educators who are responsible for operating a safe, orderly and positive classroom environment while the regular classroom teacher is absent. The substitute teacher must effectively manage the classroom and provide instruction for students following the regular teachers lesson plans. Substitutes can work in any one division or across all three for a maximum of 29 hours per week. Qualified candidates must have experience working with children in an academic, coaching or leadership capacity and a proven ability to manage a classroom. 
  • Middle School Head Volleyball Coach

    The Middle School Volleyball Head Coach is in charge of directing the middle school team under the supervision of the Program Director. An Athletic Coach at Cannon School is responsible for motivating and teaching Cannon School athletes in a mission-aligned program to compete at the highest level and represent Cannon School by living out Cannon’s core values. The coach will work within the athletics department not only for the betterment of the volleyball program, but to promote athlete participation in all sports. This position will report to the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach.
     This is a seasonal stipend position. 
  • Middle School Boys Soccer Coach

    The Middle School Boys Soccer Head Coach is in charge of directing the boys middle school team under the supervision of the Program Director. An Athletic Coach at Cannon School is responsible for motivating and teaching Cannon School athletes in a mission-aligned program to compete at the highest level and represent Cannon School by living out Cannon’s core values.  The coach will work within the athletics department not only for the betterment of the boys soccer program, but to promote athlete participation in all sports.  
    This is a season stipend position. 
  • Middle School Boys Soccer Assistant Coach

    The Middle School Boys Soccer Assistant Coach is expected to support the Head Boys Soccer Middle School coach. An Athletic Coach at Cannon School is responsible for motivating and teaching Cannon School athletes in a mission-aligned program to compete at the highest level and represent Cannon School by living out Cannon’s core values. The coach will work within the athletics department not only for the betterment of the boys soccer program, but to promote athlete participation in all sports. This position will report to the Head Middle School Coach.
    This is a seasonal stipend position.
  • Football Offensive Line/Run Game Coordinator

    Cannon School is searching for a Varsity Football Offensive Line/Run Game Coordinator for the Fall 2020 Season. The successful candidate will have previous varsity/collegiate level coaching and/or playing experience with a demonstrated interest in developing young players through detailed, fundamentally-driven, exciting instruction. Candidates in this role will also be involved with developing practice plans, scripts as well as aiding in the development of game-plans as it relates to the Run Game. As part of the school’s excellent facilities and staff support, Cannon has a synthetic turf field, full-time Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, and a state-of-the-art 4,100 square foot Strength and Conditioning Facility.  Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.  This is a seasonal stipend position.   • JV Assistant Football Coach

    Cannon School is searching for a JV Assistant Football Coach for the Fall 2020 Season. The successful candidate will have previous playing/coaching experience at the high school level or beyond and a demonstrated interest in the development of players at the JV Level. The Assistant Coach will have a focus on instruction f the basic fundamentals of technique, as well as the foundations of learning as it pertains to our systems of play. This position will be responsible for both offense and defense for the JV team. As part of the school’s excellent facilities and staff support, Cannon has a synthetic turf field, full-time Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, and a state-of-the-art 4,100 square foot Strength and Conditioning Facility.  Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.  This is a seasonal stipend position.
