Cannon School in midst of expansion, adding building and technology studio
Part of Cannon School’s campus is getting a facelift thanks to some dedicated families.
For at least 10 years, the school’s eighth graders have been housed in a temporary building that came to be dubbed "the Outback" because of its location; hidden behind one of the main buildings. Teachers said the building is small, not connected to any of the others and does not have bathrooms.
Although it was always in the school’s master plan to replace the Outback, construction wasn’t expected in the near future until some families stepped up.Read the full article
