About the Speaker
Terri James, Ph.D.
Southeast Psych, Southpark Office

Dr. James holds a degree in Child Development and Family Studies from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Clinical and School Psychology from Hofstra University. As the mother of two young children, Dr. James understands that all families strive for balance, and that when your child is struggling in school, the entire family is affected. Psycho-educational assessment is an important step in identifying issues impacting school performance. As a member of the Mind Matters team at Southeast Psych, Dr. James believes in highlighting a student’s strengths and understanding their weaknesses as the key to educational success.
