IT Operations Coordinator
The IT Operations Coordinator is a member of a small, collaborative, flexible IT team that supports all technology in a JrK-12 school setting. This position will be the coordinator for department operational and support tasks. This employee’s primary responsibility is tracking and coordination of IT-related resources and support requests. The employee provides on-site support for all users in the school community. This position reports to the Director of Institutional Technology.
Responsibilities: Manages the IT Department support ticket system, answers calls for support and assigns requests to appropriate staff in the ticket system, assists with the procurement, coordination of installation, and life-cycle maintenance of hardware and software, monitors data integrity of software and hardware tracking solutions, collects, organizes and maintains documentation for all department procedures and policies, researches, develops, and implements solutions for tracking software licenses and hardware inventory, assists and/or performs the installation of hardware, software and related peripheral, assists with the technical training for support staff or others if needed.
Requirements: Graduation from a two-year college or technical school with a degree in a related field and experience providing technical support or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree and experience providing support in an educational institution setting is a plus.
The Maintenance Mechanic is a member of the Facilities team for the school. This position independently performs semiskilled preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks associated with the upkeep and operation of the school. In addition, this position is responsible for various types of maintenance and facilities functions, building, and building equipment. This position reports directly to the Director of Facilities.
Responsibilities: Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs malfunctions in boilers, electrical, hydraulic, irrigation, heating, refrigeration, ventilation, and air conditioning systems or any other plant related equipment. Installs new/replacement equipment and material in the school by performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, boiler, irrigation, heating, venting, air conditioning, and other maintenance work. Assists with maintaining building security and responds to building emergencies as needed. Maintains a professional and courteous working relationship with staff, faculty, parents, and other event coordinators. Coordinates and assists with departmental and employee moves as needed. Dismantles and installs furniture as needed. Assists in set-up and tear-down of special events. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities.
Qualifications: Ten years proven experience in a work environment, high school graduate, or associate's degree in any discipline.
