Available Positions
Beyond the Bell Extended Day/After School Program Associate:
We are currently seeking candidates for our Beyond the Bell Extended Day/After School Program Associate position. Our ideal candidate has the ability to interact with students, parents, and staff; communicate effectively; lead and participate in instructional and recreational activities.
Qualifications include 2-year advanced degree or equivalent experience.  This is a part-time position, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 11:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Coaching Positions:

Head Softball Coach

Cannon School is searching for a head softball coach for its varsity softball program. The head coach of the varsity program also sets the vision for the middle school softball program. The season will run from the middle of February through the middle of May. For the purpose of injury prevention and preparation, it is expected that pitchers and catchers begin part-time workouts in January. Cannon competes in the competitive CISAA conference, which is part of the statewide NCISAA organization. Cannon won an NCISAA State Championship in 2011. The successful candidate is responsible for all aspects of the softball program including, but not limited to, communication with parents and athletes, practice planning, game coaching, articulating a vision for the softball program, and the development of the student-athletes.

Experience/education: Previous softball coaching experience at the high school level is expected, where the candidate has displayed effective leadership, communication, and coaching. A strong commitment to the Student-Athlete concept and a working knowledge of high school rules and regulations is also required. This is a seasonal stipend position.
