Cannon School’s athletic programs foster an environment for students to develop a number of skills outside of the classroom. With more than 30 sports teams, our programs promote a positive self-image, an understanding of teamwork and the development of physical, mental and social skills that last a lifetime.
Athletic teams have won state and conference championships each year between 2001 and 2011. Cannon won the Wachovia Championship for the area’s most successful program three consecutive years.
Cannon School is a member of the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) and a member of the Charlotte Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA). Other area public and private schools are also on our schedules, which provide our teams with strong competition.
