The Upper School Math Dept. at Cannon School seeks teaching candidates who are experienced in teaching courses ranging from geometry to calculus. Ideal candidates will be able to teach a range of high school math courses and embrace innovative teaching practices and curriculum.  The Upper School teacher at Cannon School, provides a safe, nurturing environment for students utilizing the school’s instructional program.  The teacher works to create meaningful, engaging developmentally appropriate learning experiences to build strong foundational skills for lifelong learning. Candidates who have a background in coding are strongly preferred.

Driven by Cannon School’s mission, vision, and values, the Associate Director of Advancement, reporting to the Director of Advancement, will work with the Director of Advancement and be involved with all areas of fundraising and relationship-based development at Cannon School. The Associate Director of Advancement will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications in strategy and development of annual giving, major giving, planned giving, stewardship and donor relations, and special events communications and publications. This individual will also work with the Gifts Manager on donor reports and donor prospect analysis, and other members of the Advancement Office to strategically bolster engagement with a focus on creating, building, and sustaining a culture of philanthropic partnership from all constituencies, including the alumni community, current and alumni parents, grandparents, faculty and staff, and members of the Board of Trustees.  

Cannon seeks a Director of Communications and Marketing to lead all aspects of the school’s internal and external communications, marketing, public relations, and crisis communications. The school expects to fill this role promptly and have the new Director in place this August. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, this senior leader will work across every area of the school—specifically focusing on advancement, enrollment, alumni relations, and the Head of School—to help the institution deliver on its strategic goals and promote its faculty, students, and program.

Cannon School is searching for Substitute Teachers to begin immediately. The Substitute Teacher will work in all divisions and primarily be responsible for filling the teacher needs of a faculty member while they are out. Substitute Teachers will work with members of the Cannon faculty to ensure student needs a met and curriculum left by the classroom teacher is taught. A Bachelors degree is required and prior classroom or coaching experience is preferred.

We are currently seeking candidates for our Transportation Department. The ideal candidate will have a: valid CDL license with a P&S endorsement, prior driving experience, will be flexible, a team player and enjoy working with children.
